NSZ - THE NEXT GENERATION

"NSZ - The Next Generation" is an NFT project by some friends, which involves a collection of ProfilePics, whose characters are from the future, are members of a mysterious group of punk bikers, and are being watched and wanted by the police and by the most curious people of the society.
The purpose of this project was to show a little of this futuristic universe, to bring a little of that feeling of mystery, or curiosity about the bikers. In addition to, of course, generating a "hype" for the launch of the collection.
- Direction, storyboarding, storytelling, rigging, animation, lighting, photography, editing, sound design, finishing, and everything, except some of the 3D models and their respective textures, was made by me.

Unfortunatelly, this project was aborted for market reasons.

ANIMATIC EVOLUTION:
For the first time I used this technique (I don't know if it exists) which consists of building the entire sound design based on the soundtrack, and marking all the cuts using solid colors, just to help me, and especially the client, to visualize my idea for the final product without making any progress in the 3D software yet.
After that, it turned out very simple to create the scenes and fill the animatic with static blocked scenes and some animation tests.
With the time of each cut defined it was possible to perfectly organize each video scene in the 3D software. This was the first time I enjoyed this satisfaction. It was amazing!

VIEWPORT SHOWCASE:
As noticed, I did the wind effect at the biker's jacket using a displacement effect. In this case using the add-on "SimpleWind"
This project taught me a lot. I still have a lot to improve on my productions, but I hope I can create some shortcuts for some of you guys, through these techniques.
