FEIRA DE SÃO CRISTOVÃO
Feira de São Cristovão (São Cristovão Fair) is a place in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) that represents - since the mid-1940s - the meeting point for northeasterners to celebrate their cuisine, music and dances.
Over time, the fair expanded, gaining the attention of locals
and is now located inside the Pavilhão de São Cristovão
– a building from the 1950s designed by the
award-winning Brazilian architect Sérgio Bernardes –
where people from the most diverse regions of the country
and the world, walk around and have fun.
This project aims to show a little of what can be found there:
A Feira de São Cristovão é um local do Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) que representa - desde meados da década de 1940 - o ponto de encontro dos nordestinos para celebrar sua culinária, música e danças.
Com o tempo, a feira foi se expandindo, conquistando a atenção dos cariocas,

e hoje está localizada no interior do Pavilhão de São Cristovão
– prédio da década de 1950 projetado pelo premiado arquiteto brasileiro Sérgio Bernardes –
onde pessoas das mais diversas regiões do país e do mundo passeiam e se divertem.
