ABOUT PROJECT
The conference was dedicated to global problems such as lack of resources, population growth, new diseases, ecological problems. Through the whole conference, we used the image of crystals that came to the Earth and traveled through the whole story and parts of the conference. Each crystal symbolized a problem that was presented in the upcoming part of the conference.
As the conference was made in mixed reality format there were not only real spectators but also online spectators broadcasted on the screens. Online spectators could also participate in the discussions, talk to the speakers and to the audience while we broadcast them on the screens in the studio. The speakers of the conference and all the motion graphics were broadcasted on the screen and supported by AR elements.
MY GOALS
⚛ COMPUTE SHADER
Based on the examples available on the web, I developed several compute shaders for the animation partials for the touch floor. Unfortunately at the site it was decided to use one universal solution for the entire event
⚛ VOLUME OBJECTS
For one scene I used the Volume objects technique inside TouchDesigner. The rendering occurred in real time also with reference to the data source from the touch floor
