Rice Ceremony is a traditional ritual celebrated to mark a baby's first intake of food other than milk. The boiled rice is the first solid food that baby can eat. This ritual is a special occassion in North East India.

                  This illustration is inspired by a bengali poem written by Rabindranath Tagore, "Birpurush". I designed this card both in bengali and in english.
