Palmer: Make It Real

Producing And Placing Retail Fixtures
I have collected some of my completed fixture design work in this Keynote slideshow.
Making it real means taking the design from concept to product. In short, each of these designs went through the presentation to the client, back to the client for revisions made by the mall, and back to the client for review and client approval. All very typical, but that's not the end of a kiosk or fixture design.

To get it going, you must produce comprehensive approval documentation and process the design through the mall or each specific location's approval conventions, and occasionally, back again to the design for further revisions and back again to the client for another approval. This is due to the inherent effect that design changes have on the budget. Now back again to the mall one more time to get approval for final engineering and production, then we are ready to get purchasing involved and start making it real!
