Breaking Bad—ISTD

This project was a successful ISTD 2014 entry.
Project brief: 'Everything About One Thing'.
Subject chosen: The Role of Costume Colour & Design in Breaking Bad.

This project aimed to highlight the extra layer that design can bring to a subject. In Breaking Bad colour plays an enormous role in story–telling tool although it goes unnoticed. The A3 book format was chosen to reflect the immersive quality of screen. Typefaces used were Gestalten's Blender and TypeGroup's Noodge. Choices on type were made as their aesthetic linked with the visual language of scientific discourse that we are used to.
