Believe it or not cupid has many brothers and sisters but we only talk about the one.
His brother of tough love has been a dramatic impact in history. In literature, he's responsible for
our trial and error's, our experiments gone wrong and the loss over victory. Mythologically speaking,
his tough love is responsible for valuable lessons. Therefore I've gone ahead and illustrated this eros.
I relate to this character for all the lessons I've learned along the way, both personal and artistic...
Using a sniper rifel with a love spear loaded in, this illustration represents, his tough yet elegant spirit.
It's a classical style fused in a stencil approach ready for multiple uses in many locations.
This song is the mood at which suits best. In a classical approach: Short, simple, to the point, and like cupid's brother ...a bit dark in melody.
Screen Print
In these two pictures I've gone ahead and painted him in the atmospher I believe him to be in.
High about the clouds in a mythological sky.
On the top right hand corner (first picture) I wrote this ero's motto:
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger,
His life's mission. . .
Killing defeat with success
Igniting Insanity into Genius
Turning What's gritty into gold
Battling poverty into prosperity
transforming pain into pleasure
sniping the hearts that need a sign
shooting shreds of doubt into clarity radically
he reminds us of a time when the world was once perfect
by sparking our memories with something we once had but now lost.
This is an abstract painting of cupid's clouds...
your looking through dark-stone archs rising above the clouds
past the stone archs is a path to light ...
