I decided to design a trophy for Santander Challenge. After a lot of sketching, I came with the idea of doing a transition between a circular shape and a square one. It started as something really simple (left one) and eventually I started to play with the upper part of the trophy in order to be more dinamic (right one).

I decided to play with Santander's logo itself so I could add to the trophy later on. I modeled the flames in two different ways.

I decided to use the flame element on the top and tried to do a smooth transition between them and the base but didn't work, so I took the first transition that I made first and added the flame element on top as it can see in the next pictures.

I liked how it worked, the only thing that I had to do was a nice render:
