Find Your Train Location - Solution Development for Train Delays in Sri Lanka
Train delays usually happen in Sri Lanka. Most of the time, people miss trains because of thinking that the train is already departed after passing the relevant time in the schedule and tend to go for other travelling options.
So, by designing the following website, my intension is to develop a new web application that will show off the current location of a train with the use of new technology in tracking the location of a vehicle using GPS.
Basically, what the user has to do is to find a train location, simply go to the website and click on search for train location, then it will navigate to a page which the user needs to include from which source to which destination that he wants to travel, and then click on the search button. Then it will navigate to another page that shows off the available trains within the day with the departing time and which trains are available within the search time. Then, to find the location of currently available trains, people can click on the current location button, which will glow with a green light. Then it will navigate to another page that will show both the moving location of the train and the location of the user.
So, the user can get in to know about the information like whether the train is already gone, or they still have the chance to catch the train from the relevant station. So, this will reduce the chance of missing a train and ease the day for train travelers.
