Project Brief :To go through the complete method of Design Process starting from a concept generation, research,
technique exploration(print exploration), execution and finally design a collective range of 6 garments
Core of the project: Illustration, all the images in the project are hand illustrated.
Inspiration:The Panchatantra (Sanskrit: पञ्चतन्त्र, 'Five Principles or Techniques') is an ancient Indian inter-related collection of animal fables in verse and prose, in a frame story format. The original Sanskrit work, which some scholars believe was composed around the 3rd century is attributed to Vishnu Sharma. It is based on older oral traditions, including "animal fables that are as old as we are able to imagine". It is "certainly the most frequently translated literary product of India" and these stories are among the most widely known in the world.
Our main inspiration for the collection is from the Villains of Panchatantra.
I'll seek you out
Flay you alive
One more word and you won't survive
And I'm not scared
Of your stolen power
I see right through you any hour
I won't soothe your pain
I won't ease your strain
You'll be waiting in vain
I got nothing for you to gain
I'm taking it slow
Feeding my flame
Shuffling the cards of your game
And just in time
In the right place
Suddenly I will play my ace
I won't soothe your pain
I won't ease your strain
You'll be waiting in vain
I got nothing for you to gain
Ahh, felling any foe with my gaze
Ahh, steadily emerging with grace..
