As the geeky little kid I was (correction, still am), back in the day I loved to draw dark stuff. Demons, skulls, dragons.. I blame hentai and Image comics. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

So I fired up Photoshop and wanted to create some darker images opposed to the more happy colorfull characters I more often create.
I seem to be preferring mask like shapes. Those always kinda fascinated me. The weird motionless expressions can really creep you out. Yikes!
As you can see, my sketching is pretty basic. I work out a general large shape, paste it in Illustrator and it mostly evolves from that point forward.
