As people go through their daily life in urban environments, the cities exacerbate economic pressures and create an environment in which it is difficult for one to attach themselves to social structures or their environments. Steel architectures, neatly spaced buildings, repetition and distractions had led to anomie amongst the citizens and alienation from our surroundings.
Referencing Slow Design’s principle, reveal, Keen-eyed is a card game conceived to promote interactions amongst the players and encourage its users to be more observant of their surroundings, reconnect to their environment. It makes use of adjectives to embed layers and depth into observation and inspire the game’s players to be creative on the descriptions of objects. For example, a t-shirt will no longer be a t-shirt but a white t-shirt or a clean white-tshirt.
