Book Covers: Helen Lamb

For this brief we had to design three poetry book covers as part of a five-book collection by Helen Lamb. As this was a collaboration project our team was made up of two graphic design students and one photography student.

We selected our favourite three poems from the collection and analysed them to try and convey a mood/ theme throughout. Each poem had a sense of build up then almost evaporation as the poem came to an end and so this is why we used this 'almost there' photograph style. We wanted to convey the idea of disappearing or dissolving and make the images quite distorted.
