The art of tattooing has deep roots in Japan and I loved representing in this pattern some of the most important old school symbols, including the Daruma doll.
Daruma doll is a lucky charm: after having made a wish, you could paint one of the two eyes and only when this wish has been fulfilled the other eye can be finally painted as well.
