Jupiter & Venus
Currently, the brightest objects in the sky are Jupiter & Venus: they appear to be in close approximation to one another; this is called a conjunction.
In reality, they are millions of miles apart as Jupiter is 11 times the width of our earth seen on the left together and is aligned to our vision in the western sky; both planets are luminous by their clouds, making an unusual treat a striking spectacle to watch.
