Blooming, 2020
Painting with a Bees point of view. My first still life ever “Bloom” made in 2020 during the quarantine. 50x70 Giclée print on Museum Quality 300g 100% cotton and acid free paper.

Inspired by the wonderful depictions of flowers throughout the decades that we have a visual record at least, with a drop of an acidic point of you. I tried painting from a Bees point of view. Flowers in a bees eyes look completely different, the colour spectrum is way bigger since their eyes can see UV rays and we clearly cant. Further more this painting was heavily influenced by the brilliant depictions of flowers such as Georgia O’akeeffe’s (colour wise) and Irving Peen’s (composition wise)

Fengaros, 2020
Fengaros / Selene as a boy
I wanted to create a rendition of an idea I had of Selene as a boy.
