Problem: We all love music awards, but the winner is always decided by specialized juries, hackers on websites, or sales people. This does not show what fans actually listen to or recognize. 

This is why in Spotify we created the first awards based on real data, where we recognized what people listen to: streams. 

Idea: the first ceremony in which each play, save, share, and follow on the platform counted in order to award artists. We created a visual identity based on data, along with a campaign focused entirely on data's inspirational side, until the day of the event where, through a multi-platform strategy we gave fans and artists 100% of the power.
