/ Branding / Mosaro - Eco- Friendly Branding

Mosaro is a fashion brand that makes sustainable clothing using traditional Japanese textile techniques.

They use a method called Sashiko-Boro, which means stitching small pieces of fabric together to make bigger pieces. This helps to avoid wasting fabric and creates beautiful designs. The main concepts is connection between young generations with each other.

The branding believes in the "no waste" philosophy, called Mottainai, which is about respecting the environment and using resources wisely. Mosaro tries to minimize waste by using as much fabric as they can and using ethical methods of production. They also promote slow fashion, which means taking time to make high-quality, long-lasting products.
To tie in with the use of recycled materials and thrifted clothing, the brand has chosen a color palette of blue denim and green military. These colors are commonly associated with sustainable and eco-friendly fashion, as they are often seen in recycled or upcycled clothing.

The graphic treatment for the branding features images of different pieces of recycled fabric, such as denim jeans, military jackets, and linen shirts. These images are incorporated into the design of the brand's packaging, website, and social media channels to reinforce the message of sustainability and eco-friendliness.

Mosaro is also using a linen texture paper to represent the fabric characteristics of their products for initial application including letterhead . This paper has a subtle texture that mimics the look and feel of linen, which is a popular fabric used by the brand
To highlight eco-friendly philosophy, the brand has chosen to use 100% straw paper from Mohawk Paper, which is made from agricultural waste and has a natural, textured appearance.
