This project had me create a few layouts for articles in the published literary journal Outlet. I created spreads for 2 full articles and 2 poems. Although not all of them were published in the literary journal, one of them was published in the final, and 2 others were considered for the final. This project took longer than many others that I've done, which helped me learn how to refine my work on a deeper level. It allowed me to push my concepts and designs to the best they could be.

I also contributed to my group's work of a theme for the whole journal, where we settled on a 50's diner style to it. It was fun working in a retro style like that, and I'm happy with the way it turned out although it wasn't selected as the published theme. This was a very engaging project that taught me a ton about teamwork and persisting through difficulties.
