Introducing San Francisco’s First Cannabis Equity Marketplace

Hyrba is San Francisco’s first Cannabis Equity Marketplace, an innovative retail location and consumption lounge dedicated to elevating the voices of underrepresented communities. They came to us to create an all-encompassing brand identity that communicates Hyrba’s values of equity, diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.

Aspiring to be a gathering place, so community engagement in the heart of the Mission District, a neighborhood rich in historical immigrant culture from it’s Irish and German beginnings to the current Hispanic & Latino communities, Noise 13 created a brand identity inspired by textures, tiles, and the vibes of marketplaces around the world. Discarding the heritage cannabis style and iconography for a more modern vernacular of flower, community connection, and the local transportation system graphic inspiration. The vibrant color palette, custom typography inspired by Mexico City’s markets, macro photography of its cannabis products, and partnerships with local mural artists helps elevate and differentiate the brand from other dispensaries in town.
