'Open! Storage' first anniversary party

The National Folk Museum of Korea, Paju opened in Heyri, Paju, Gyeonggi-do Province in July 2021.
This is a new type of museum based on the basic concept of an open storage that meets the global trend toward openness and sharing of information. About 144,000 folk relics and 1 million archive materials are stored in 15 storage rooms.
Among these storages, 10 storages are divided into ‘visible storages’ and ‘open storages’, which are open storages.
The open storage was created to actively share and utilize cultural assets by transforming the museum storage, which was restricted from access, into a space accessible to visitors.

In the summer of 2022, the National Folk Museum of Korea, Paju held a first anniversary party in the name of ‘Open! Storage’.
Various events were held throughout the museum for three days, including exhibitions, gallery talks, storage experience, band performances, markets, and folk theater screenings.

We produced graphic identity, posters, leaflets, promotional banners, and commemorative catalogs for the first anniversary event.
The square frame of the museum's storage and the various expressions shown in combination with the collections became the motif of the event graphics.
