Uber vs Lyft

This academic paper presents a comparative analysis of the two most commonly used ride-sharing applications in the United States, Uber and Lyft, with the aim of identifying which of the two is more user-friendly. The study was conducted as part of the GDVX 701 course, which is focused on design research, analysis, and discourse, at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The research findings highlight the importance of visual design, user interface (UI), and motion in enhancing the overall product experience for consumers. The final output, which takes inspiration from Uber's design language, is an argumentative essay that is designed to resemble the Uber app, and presents a compelling argument in favor of the chosen app.
