새해가 다가오면 달력을 넘기며 새로운 일 년을 준비합니다.
2023년 새해를 기념하며 2년간 함께한 스터디 그룹원들과의 첫 합작을 달력으로 진행해 보았습니다.
직장인이라 바쁜 틈에서 열심히 준비한 스터디원들에게 감사 인사를 전하며, 모두 즐겁게 봐주세요:)
When the new year approaches, we prepare for a new year by turning over the calendar.
To celebrate the 2023 New Year, we conducted our first collaboration with study group members for two years on a calendar.
I would like to express my gratitude to the study members who prepared hard in the midst of being busy because they are office workers, and please enjoy it. :)

겨울과 봄 사이 어딘가에 있는, 차갑지만 따뜻한 2월의 느낌을 내고 싶었습니다.
Somewhere between winter and spring, I wanted to create a cold but warm February feeling.

봄이 시작되는 달인 3월을 표현하고자 봄의 여신이라는 캐릭터를 설정, 제작한 뒤

In order to express March, the month of spring, I set up a character called the goddess of spring.

5월은 행사가 굉장히 많은 달입니다. 많은 기념일 중 포근한 5월의 봄 날씨와 부처님오신날이 잘 어울린다고 생각해 미지의 공간을 탐험하다 발견한 거대한 불상을 표현해 봤습니다. 웅장하면서도 화사한 느낌을 전달하고자 노력했습니다.
There are many events in May. Among many anniversaries, I thought the warm May spring weather and Buddha's birthday go well together, so I expressed the huge Buddha statue I found while exploring the unknown space. I tried to convey a grand yet bright feeling.

8월의 푸르른 숲과 강렬한 햇살 아래의 요정을 표현하고자 했습니다. 인간형 캐릭터를 제작하는 건 처음이었는데 많은 시행착오를 겪으며 성장할 수 있었던 즐거운 경험이었습니다.
I wanted to express the green forest of August and the fairy under the strong sunlight. It was my first time producing a human-shaped character, and it was a fun experience to grow through many trials and errors.

가을은 저에게 낙엽이 켜켜이 쌓이고 포근한 옷을 꺼내입기 시작하는 따뜻한 계절로 와닿습니다.

Autumn touches me as a warm season when fallen leaves pile up and I start to take out warm clothes.

2023년 토끼의 해를 맞아 토끼 캐릭터를 활용한 아트웍을 제작하였습니다.

차가운 빙하가 둘러싸인 바다에서 겨울을 관장하고 있는 캐릭터를 제작해보았습니다.
기존에 제작해본적 없던 실험적인 의상을 만들어보고자 했던 것이 가장 큰 목표였습니다.

I created a character who controls winter in the sea surrounded by cold glaciers.
My biggest goal was to make experimental costumes that I had never made before.
12. December
매년 전 세계를 여행하는 산타 클로즈를 조금 곤란하게 만드는 아이를 만들어봤습니다. 핼러윈 때 `Trick or Treat`을 외치는 문화를 가져와 크리스마스에 선물을 기다리는 착한 아이가 아닌, 선물을 주지 않으면 괴롭히겠다는 당돌한 아이를 마주한 산타의 상황을 표현했습니다.
I made a child that makes Santa Claus a little bit of a problem, who travels around the world every year. It brought a culture of shouting "Trick or Treat" on Halloween and expressed Santa's situation in which he faced a bold child who would bully if he didn't give a gift, not a good child waiting for a gift on Christmas.
