'Sustainism' Rangda inspired costume

This costume was part of a group project for Desa Potatoe Head (Bali) initiated by Xerxes Cook and Dan Mitchel and style directed by stylist Erika Kurihara for a potential creative magazine which project was canceled due to the pandemy. Several costumes were created and I had the opportunity to create one of the 'Sustainism' creatures, here inspired by 'Rangda' known as a Balinese Mythology evil character. Here the purpose was to create a walking creature with recycled trash to create visual awarness about the waste issue here in Indonesia and in the world in general. All costumes have been photographed by  David Luraschi in 2019.

As we only had 8 days to craft this costume on time for the photoshoot I was helped by creative Tisha Sara, Chitra Ananda and Wina
