Make it Fluid
Um projeto pessoal de um final de semana. Neste projeto, eu me propus a termina-lo em um final de semana. Recentemente eu fiz um curso do Pedro Aquino onde ele ensina a como fazer uma esfera percorrer alguns degraus. É uma tarefa bem trabalhosa e que pode dar errado em um piscar de olhos. Resolvi colocar os conhecimentos que adquiri em um projeto pessoal próprio. Sempre estou de olho nas tendências, esse efeito de objetos ficando opacos quando passam por trás de "vidros" está muito em alta. Então tentei adiciona-lo ao projeto. Ele realmente da um visual bem interessante.
A personal weekend project. In this project, I set out to finish it in a weekend. I recently took a course with Pedro Aquino where he teaches how to make a sphere go through some steps. It's a very laborious task and can go wrong in the blink of an eye. I decided to put the knowledge I acquired into a personal project of my own. I'm always on the lookout for trends, this effect of objects becoming opaque when they pass behind "glass" is very popular. So I tried to add it to the project. It really looks quite interesting.
Storyboard
Como sempre, eu inicio colocando a minha ideia de forma rabiscada no illustrator usando o Paintbrush Tool.
As usual, I start by scribbling my idea into Illustrator using the Paintbrush Tool.
Illustration Black and White
Depois do storyboard, eu inicio a ilustração. Eu sempre gosto de fazê-la em preto e branco, dessa forma eu ganho tempo pensando nas cores apenas no final. E claro, nada como boas referências para me manter inspirado enquanto eu desenho. Eu gosto sempre de encher o meu artboard com um quadro de boas referências.
After the storyboard, I start the illustration. I always like to do it in black and white, that way I save time thinking about colors only at the end. And of course, nothing like good references to keep me inspired while I draw. I always like to fill my artboard with good references.
Black or white background?
Dessa vez eu fiz uma pesquisa no Instagram colocando uma arte ao lado da outra (uma com o fundo claro, e outra com o fundo escuro) e pedi para meus seguidores escolherem qual eles mais gostaram. No final ficou 80% para Black, e 20% para White. E você o que achou? Prefere Fundo escudo ou fundo claro?
This time I did a search on Instagram by placing art next to the other (one with a light background, and another with a dark background) and asked my followers to choose which one they liked the most. In the end it was 80% for Black, and 20% for White. And you, what you think? Do you prefer Shield Background or Light Background.
