The typeface creation was a journey inspired by the architectural beauty of Ponce De Leon's dining hall. Born from an appreciation of stained glass windows, it aimed to capture their charm in a functional typeface. Fascination with these windows, rich in history and design, served as the project's genesis. The patterns, colors, and geometric lines in these windows were the primary inspiration. Our typeface drew from elements and modules in the dining hall windows, embodying the college's history, culture, and craftsmanship. Thick black lines and geometric shapes from the windows became fundamental to our design, adding visual appeal and improving legibility. By integrating these principles, we bridged typography and architectural artistry, creating a unique typeface inspired by the stained glass windows' essence.
