For this Photoshop composite, I carefully integrated 18 source images using advanced techniques such as layer masking, adjustment layers, layer styles, filters and smart objects. I used adjustment layers for color correction and to add shadows and highlights to different parts of the composition.
I further challenged myself by adding eccentric perspective fields to the fore- and midground checkered lawns, in order to match the swirling sky, to create an otherworldly, psychedelic effect. The sky itself is composed of multiple source images.
I integrated a CGI element as well, since I thought it would be challenging to make it appear as if it were a photographed object.
