Floor Plan Concept Proposal

Design Brief
I was tasked to create an effective floor design (with social media) for Design Orchard that attract its target audience. In this project, people are assigned to groups with each groups design a set of Floor Graphic and marketing campaign that front-faces the target audience, increase the brand awareness and enhance customer experience. I’m required to gathered insights of observation, survey and interviewing to understand the target audience and market so what I’m doing will match this project’s objectives
While at the first part of this project I was assigned with a group, I was soon assigned to work alone due to my autism diagnosis and requires extra time in my work. Regardless, I push myself hard in my limits to create my floor proposal design “Garden Curiosity”
“Garden Curiosity”
Spread of different types of leaves form in a pathway would get people curious and follow the trail to know more. While following the trail, people will eventually meet with a heart made of different flowers as reward. Different types, same kind. This will mostly likely get people go inside the place out of curiosity. Therefore “garden curious”
Process
When I was still assigned with a group, we go through a tedious process of collecting important and relevant information of Design Orchard via survey, research and brainstorms. Afterwards, we proceed to create our floor design concepts proposal. I had to begin doing on my as it was also this time I was separated. Regardless, I still come up with several idea design iterations of my own design concept proposals, with the “realistic colourful” concepts to be my main idea behind “Garden Curiosity” (If fonts are present, they are Calibri)
Overall
Even if my floor design concept(s) sadly didn’t make the final cut, I’m grateful that I learn a lot of design process throughout the entirety of this project because the entire process of how my concept came to be is what matters the most while doing graphic design projects
