Coalescence is a first person sci-fi horror mystery game that takes the player on a mind-bending journey through transhumanism. You’re a Guerilla journalist investigating rumors of human trafficking by a seemingly harmless bio-engineering company, VisCorp. You wade through a frozen island of fog and ice. The goal is to push further into the facility, and figure out what happened at this once-populated facility that seems like a ghost town. 

The gameplay in the beginning is more or less minor puzzle-solving with a narrative drive. This is until the player makes a first encounter with a spliced, an abomination made from brute forcing different strands of animal DNA with humans. Barely functional, these painful creations react only on feral instinct rather than logic. The character plans on creating the mother of all exposés, risking their life to be the one who punished the company who tried to play God.
