Berlin-based ELEMENT Insurance was in need of a partner who could build them a more vital, impactful brand identity as one of Europe’s leading B2B2C insurance providers. We developed a modern, confident new brand direction for the client, oriented around their ambitious, long-term goals.

CHALLENGE
We approached this project by first trying to learn as much as possible about the digital insurance landscape and the company's unique selling proposition. With our in-depth understanding of the client's vision and future goals, we then developed a brand strategy that set the strategic framework for brand development and defined the core DNA of the ELEMENT brand.

SOLUTION
In order to position ELEMENT as a driving force behind digital transformation in the insurance industry, we developed a refined brand strategy, showcasing the company’s products and services simply and consistently across all touchpoints.
Starting with a core concept of the pixel – the perfect metaphor for the client’s aspirational vision – we laid the groundwork to accelerate the company’s path to success with a new brand identity. This in turn helped to support ELEMENT’s talent team in the building of an employer brand that would attract top talent. 
A stand-out brand direction

By helping ELEMENT to define their mission, vision, and essence, we worked to eliminate ambiguities around their brand. This brought the client one step closer to repositioning themselves as a next-gen, tech-driven leader for the insurance industry. 
A sleek new visual identity

We settled on the pixel as the perfect visual metaphor for the client’s core values of innovation, disruption, and connection. This became the graphic starting point for a visual language that we built to feel as flexible and adaptable as the product itself.
Bringing the brand to life

In order to integrate the client’s core values throughout their many brand touchpoints, we developed guidelines for consistent and coherent messaging across marketing, social media, and sales.
A coherent, strong employer brand

To strengthen ELEMENT’s employer brand, we supplied a framework designed to help them easily and clearly communicate their vision and values with employees. This included sleek merchandise as well as a suite of assets for improving internal communication.
Working quickly – in order to deliver the new brand direction before the client’s five year anniversary – we were able to give ELEMENT a modern, meaningful identity that accurately represented their vision, mission, and values.
