My ancestors were some of the most resilience people to ever walk this earth. They were strong, hardworking and determined. No matter what obstacles they faced, they always found a way to overcome them. I admire their strength and fortitude and am grateful to have them as my ancestors.

My ancestors embraced their Africanness. They were proud of their heritage and culture and always strove to preserve it. They passed down their traditions and customs to future generations, ensuring that their culture would never be lost.

 

I am eternally grateful to my African ancestors for everything they have done for me. They have given me strength, resilience, creativity and a deep love for my African heritage. I am who I am today because of them and I will never forget the debt I owe them.
