Little Explorers

Little Explorers is a digital platform that facilitates a child’s creative exploration of the world around her. Targetted primarily at children from ages 4 onwards, anyone with a curious mind will also enjoy the exploration.
Express by Drawing

At the age of four, children begin to express themselves and the stories they want to tell through drawings and verbal communication. They start to use symbols to represent the things they see or experience. The act of drawing is in itself a means of creative play and exploration of the world around them.
Freedom to Create

Not restricting children to just a few styles or colours on the palette, Little Explorers allows them to splash the world onto their canvas. The child saves the drawn shape as a layer, and then proceeds to view the world through the shape itself before snapping a picture.
The drawing as a viewfinder: a child viewing her surroundings through the shape that was previously drawn and saved, then snapping a photo to include it in the collage.
"This is beautiful! Tell me: What is it about?"

Every creation is unique; every creation tells an original story. Such creativity encourages and enhances parent-child relationships as they interact over the augmented drawing.
Good things deserve to be shared.

Creations on Little Explorers may be shared with the world through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The original works may also be printed out and be displayed physically in homes or schools. They become talking pieces in communities of love.
Physicalising the digital masterpiece: creations on Little Explorers may be printed out and displayed like digital photographs to be cherished. (Wireless photo printer not provided.)
Infinite Possibilities

The world around us is full of beauty and wonder. The people and things we observe everyday can be explored and made sense of in original and fresh ways.
