The goal of this assignment was to use witness tree wood to create something that was inspired by Thomas Edison's myriad of patents. Seeing that Edison has been credited for the invention and improvement of the light bulb, I designed a lamp. After much research into Edison's life and work, I drew inspiration from decorations seen in Edison's home in Orange, New Jersey.
