I developed this GUI (Graphical User Interface) using MATLAB in order to calculate the deflection curves of a plate of specified material and dimensions under a point load. The deflection curves are shown graphically as a surface, mesh or contour plot. The maximum deflection and location of the maximum deflection are shown in the 'results' box under the graph. The following images show examples of different cases with different graph style outputs.
