This was a project i did for the D&AD student competition. The brief was to design book covers for three classic novels by H.G.Wells, my idea was to use high speed photography. Each cover is printed on canvas paper and wrapped around hard card to create a hard back book cover. To hold the blurb I created a band that wraps around each book. Each image relates to something that happens in that book. Each photograph has gone through photoshop and been inverted and the colours have been enhanced but nothing was done to change the actual image.
