South Sudan won its independence in 2011. This young country struggles with violence, refugees, flooding, education, food security, health, nutrition, shelter, water and sanitation. These are some of the areas the Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF) contributes to. Ensuring the allocations of funds reach the people in need through NGOs and UN organizations.

This is the first annual report for the CHF South Sudan. The purpose was to provide an overview on how the fund works, resource allocation, key achievements of the project based clusters and the support the fund provides to reach the objectives of the South Sudan Consolidated Appeal (CAP).
