Living in Singapore, a fast-paced society, we often neglect our environment- even if it takes us a minute to stop and take a closer look. Simple tasks such as relaxing and taking a short break in between our busy lifestyles can make a huge difference to one's perspective. I chose to vary my photo essay on the serenity. I visited the only Kampung in Singapore today, and appreciated the presence of  nostalgic construction, the beauty of nature, objects and animals that people never had a chance to notice. It was a memorable and precious experience for myself, which should be for everyone else too.
