This illustration was completed as a gift for the founder of Lil' Orphan Hammies; a hardworking rescue organization for which I had the privilege of serving as a designer and board member for about 3 years.
Charlie was a mischeivious, mixed-breed farm pig who became a bit of an icon around the sanctuary. Sadly, despite the sanctuary staff and veterinarian's best efforts, Charlie succombed to complications from a leg injury.

On a bit of a lark, I began shifting the colors of the scanned file around in PhotoShop. I ended up liking this variation a lot, so I chose to include it as well.
