This 4-page magazine includes the front cover and 3 pages of the main article. I matched the color of all the pages with the tone of the front cover. This tone is based on a lighter pigment which resembles a guitar's wooden color. It is also lighter for easier printing, readability, and has a calming effect on the reader. On the front cover I only included the most basic information, because I didn't want to overcrowd the image. The front cover photo depicts a guitarist in a proper guitar playing position. On page 1, I split the text into 4 sections. the top two being title and header, and a quote in the background balancing the header space. On page 2, I outlined the text as a guitar creating a negative space image. This required pinpoint text adjustment in order to fit the curvature of the guitar. On page 3, the image of the guitar dominates the page to focus the reader on the structure of the guitar, supporting the text on the left, which contains information about proper finger placement techniques.
