Logo Redesign & Character lllustrations for The Woori Show

Woori Show is the first bilingual (English & Korean) American web series for young people that blends elements of puppet theater, dance, visual arts, and music. Modeled after Sesame Street, Woori Show's goal is to teach the new generation of Korean Americans about Korean culture, history, and language.

Going into their second season, Woori Show wanted to redesign their logo to be more modern and appealing to their target audiences.
In addition to the logo, I also designed a group of characters that will be used in future video segments and merchandise. Each Woori Friend was chosen for their relationship to Korean folklore and was given a back story and personality that can be used as a cornerstone in building educational content.
The characters were originally concepted to represent different regions of Korea, but evolved through the process to be more Americanized to be more relatable to the children watching the show.
