Quicksilver wanted to create packaging for a collection that reflected STAND, one of the foundation’s Quiksilver supports, and the new clothing line. STAND is an organization trying to stop the building of a pipeline through the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia and prevent tankers form using it as a waterway to Asia.
The packaging also needed to further engage the customer with the foundation after purchase. When the QR code ws scanned it brought users to the pledge and petition pages, where users could take action against the oil tankers, and help protect the rainforest.
