I have been working on this magazine with the underlying idea of helping to make history education less Eurocentric and to make room for other cultures.
In the Netherlands, we are taught at school about the Greeks and Romans period, and here we only learn about the things that happened and took place in Europe. As far as I know, I have not had any lessons about the Mayas, to give an example. At least not extensively. Whenever we were taught about the Maya, or other cultures outside of Europe, we always looked at how things that happened there related to Europe.

Through this magazine, the young people can get extra information about world history, while it is not aimed at Europe. This could be given as an extra to the young people, so that they learn more about what happened in other parts of the world at the time they are taught.
