The Callisto Protocol - Security Guard
The Security Unit started out with a ton of sketches from Robin Chyo:
After blocking out a 3d base mesh, I starting carving out forms in ZBrush. The goal was to style the robot using generative algorithms. Originally I set out to design the whole robot with Grasshopper nodes in Rhinoceros. The node processing started to chug after a while. To solve this problem I instead stamped out a bunch of "squoronoi" meshes out of Grasshopper. These meshes were manipulated in ZBrush to fit the Robots form.
