UNO - the stacking chair

UNO as the name goes for the chair, is actually made out a single running pipe having no cuts in between, the chair is been designed keeping in mind the manufacturing process and the labour cost, as the intention was to give optimum convenience to the manufacturers and maximum comfort to the target audience.
The form of the chair is such that it gives you a continous and never ending feel of a tubular object.
UNO is available in funky and bright colours as well as in chrome finish which makes its look chic and elegant as well as playful
It can stack up to 6 chairs,  thus saves a lot of space. Also the stacking of the chairs itself embraces its design concept and presents an elegant collage all together.
Introducing wood as a material changes the dynamics of the chair. Wood adds warmth to the chair along with giving comfort and contributes to adding a layer of sophistication yo the chair.
The details of the furniture piece are as clean and chic as the furniture itself. Following the design language, the back is designed in a way it gives a binding edge to rest.
The joineries adds to the elegance of the furniture piece. Using insertion technique to join two metal pipes eliminates the hassle of welding which looks untidy, also using the wooden caps just gives an aesthetic balance to the furniture.
The table follows the same design language, the angular legs make it co relate to chair and reflect the scope of a collective use.
This is the process of the making a 1:1 prototype...
1:1 prototype images in process.
