Who's ever heard of wedding vegetables? Ed Corcoran and Heidi Gustad decided on a wedding "brand" with a vegetarian motif: an artichoke and cross-spears (of asparagus). They had the image tattooed on their biceps and used it on wedding invitations, announcements and as details on the reception place-cards. The tables were decorated with dried artichokes, the soup was made of the fresh variety, and even the wedding photos weren't without vegetation.

These were my first fabric sculptures, but I've been dreaming about it for a long time. Both pieces are made completely of soft materials and are touchable sculptures. The majority of the vegetables are made with fleece and flannel. It took about a month to make these.
Dan Hartley of Lansing, Michigan took the following photos in the couple's "photobooth" at the wedding reception. This was done in place of more traditional arrangements and made it very easy to get each guest to sit for some photos. The props made people more comfortable and made for entertaining shots.
