Pizzoni Pizzaria

Rio de Janeiro is one of the most famous cities in the world thanks to its stunning natural beauty and unique culture. The North Zone is the most populous and vibrant in the city, people are happy, receptive and hungry for pizza. If the beaches were almost all in the South Zone and West Zone of the city, the North Zone was privileged with the three main football stadiums and the overwhelming majority of samba school courts. They needed a new place to experience a new gastronomic flavor in the all-you-can-eat format.

To translate the carioca soul, especially the carioca from the North Zone, we used vibrant colors with high contrast, we wanted to draw attention, just like the carioca.

The symbol was designed taking inspiration from the process of opening the pizza dough by the pizza maker, by throwing the dough upwards the chef creates circular shapes that are organic, smooth and friendly. Looking at these formats, we managed to design a symbol that is easily recognizable, that has great flexibility and legibility, and that also translates the concept of the Heart (the soul of the carioca) and the infinity symbol (everything you can eat).
