Nubia
The collection is inspired by a magical place called Aswan, south of Egypt, where the Nubians live. They are believed to be one of the earliest cradles of civilization
“Nubia” speaks about Nubian motifs and traditions, baskets, crochet, the blue nile magic and summer in the desert
The design process required a lot of research about the Nubian culture, history and symbolisms. Many visits to Aswan and craft-fairs where we connected with craftsmen and women of these amazing traditional practices, who we collaborated with to create this unique collection that pays tribute to the Nubian’s artistic heritage that adorns the banks of the blue Nile River
