Rattler Cyder - Mahogany
Aiming to restore the balance between accomplishment at sea
and a grounded life on land.
Most of you won't have heard of a drink called mahogany...

It dates back to the colonial era, a vicious blend of gin and treacle, drank by Canadian lumberjacks and Cornish fishermen. There was a need to soften the restless nights on shore, or away from the spruce forests of the North.

'Rattler Mahogany' combines these flavours with feisty rattler apples and hopes to support those who are at work on Cornwall's most treacherous stretch of coast.

This is only a fraction of the story which I captured through a branding project for Rattler cider. There is so much more to tell about the history of fishing, cider making and the resilience of strong men and their strong drink.

It was a challenging and rewarding project, helping me understand more about Cornish culture.
