Kenko Tokina PIENI II

An irresistible LOMO project! Obviously I bought it for two reasons: the design of Hello Kitty and the fact that it is a working toy camera!
P.S: PIENI means “Small” in Finnish
The structure, about 18 grams, as you can see in the photo is really small and without an LCD screen, the data is saved on microSD (sold separately). Since there's no LCD monitor or viewfinder you have to wait until you plug the tiny camera into a PC and see photos. You'll be shooting without the LCD, ok but it's not like the viewfinder is for anything other than being decorative. Set the camera more or less where you want to shoot and CLICK away!

It reminded me of film cameras and a very nerdy bit of lomography. I had a Holga Digital but with great regret I gave it away and this is the closest camera I could find. On the manufacturer's website you can find that it takes watercolor-like photos, but in reality they don't even look bad for a camera without stabilization with a pinhead-type sensor. This toy digital camera has a 1/10″ CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1.3 MPixel while the built-in lens has a focal length of 3.2 mm with an aperture of f/2.8. The minimum focusing distance is 30 cm and it is possible to record video as well as take static photographs and record audio.
The Kenko has an ON OFF button and a MODE button. The MODE button gives you the possibility to change the function from video to photography to audio only and see how you set it from the color that appears in the viewfinder: red for photos, blue for videos, purple for audio.
To shoot click with the same ON OFF, to turn it off hold down for three seconds.
Shutter speed is 1/100th of a second and ISO sensitivity is 100
The back of the camera is a magnet so when you don't use it or for still movies you can use this possibility, I really like it attached to the fridge when I don't use it.
