I remember a while back, there was a trend where people had to guess who the characters were based on the coloured lego looking blocks.
With that in mind, I also used an abstract approach and picked out key features and colours of each character to represent them inside the various shapes. The rectangular shapes represent presents that people exchange during this festive season, and are stacked up to form a Christmas tree.
The ribbon on the top present also acts as the star on the tree, giving the artwork the finishing touch.
